Hello,
Recently I just came back from Peru, from Machu Picchu. Before I went I read a book of poems by Pablo Neruda, I searched more for poetry than historical information – myself I am a poet too.
I even memorized one poem (in Spanish) and when there I said it to my tourist guide – she didn’t new the poem but was impressed. I dreamed about visiting Peru for many years.
I agree with you that only through poetry one can express feelings while there. The past is still there attached to every stone, lying on every step, rising with the sun every morning above the mountains. It still is in people, their work, passion, smiles, fabrics, respect and love for the nature. The Past and Now are perfectly melted existing like anywhere else on our Planet. At least for me.

Thanks for sharing your feelings with us. You really touched me.

Wow! I feel like I just went on a vacation. The angles and framing in these photos are really beautiful. I have seen pictures of Machu Pichu but never from such unique vantage points. Thanks for sharing!

Hi - very great website you have created. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically pleasing. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a marketing firm. I have always enjoyed functioning with computers and am trying to learn computer code in my free time (which there is never enough of lol).
